Stack Save/Backup ?
Click anywhere in this tip to close it.
Your Stacks occupy storage on your computer that is allocated by your browser, called "Local Storage." Local Storage is subject to loss by such actions as you yourself clearing cache memory. For that and other reasons, you should periodically backup your Stacks. There are two ways to save/export your Stacks using this panel. One method, available to all, is to Copy your Stack and Paste it into a text editor to be saved as you would save any file. The second method is available to NoteWindow Account subscribers and allows direct save/restore of stacks at the Notewindow Internet site.
A copy may serve as a backup, or to share with others, or to allow you access to your Stacks from any computer on the Internet.
If your data contains any sensitive information, depending upon potential unauthorized access you may want to return to the "Stack Menu" and encrypt this Stack. The Export/Save will then offer the option of exporting either the encrypted or unencrypted version.
